Deserts in the north dominate the dry weather, Western Mexico and the states of Jalisco are often referred to as having an eternal spring. On the Yucatán Peninsula you have the picturesque turquoise seas, and in the south the tropical jungles and the Pacific it is more humid and hot.
Puerto Vallarta is on the opposite side of the country , a commercial holiday resort, albeit smaller than Cancún, but has a central old town with cobbled streets that fan out from a colonial plaza.

Mexico is rich in history of ancient civilisations from the city of Palenque to the world-famous archaeological site of Chichén Itzá. Or in Tulum on the Riviera Maya, one of the last Mayan cities was built and sits on the idyllic coastline of the Yucatán Peninsula.
Food and Drink :
